Expanding by SubSections Expand by SubSections (Edit menu) places all MIDI data contained in each SubSection of a selected track into the current Section as multiple linear tracks. Metro Creates a new track for each Output originally used in the SubSections. Expand by SubSections expands all SubSections regardless of any selected range in the Graphic Editor, Event Editor, or Tracks Overview windows. To expand by SubSections: Select the track containing the SubSection events that you want to expand. Choose Expand by SubSections from the Edit menu’s Expand submenu. Expanding by SubSections retains the data in SubSections but removes the SubSection framework surrounding the data. This frees up your allotment of SubSections; you can place up to 64 new SubSections in the expanded track if you want. Remember, if you are simply running out of room to add more SubSections within a single track, you can always place additional SubSections within other tracks in the same Section.
