Editing SubSection Start Time and Duration
You can edit SubSection event start times one of three ways: dragging the SubSection event in the
Notes display of the Graphic Editor window, using the SubSection Event Edit dialog box (accessible by clicking directly on a SubSection event), or
adjusting start time values in the Event Editor window
To edit start times and duration graphically in the Notes display of the
Graphic Editor window:
- Click and hold down the mouse on the SubSection event’s Begin Selector Triangle and drag the event to where you want it to start.
- Click and hold the mouse on the SubSection event’s End Selector Triangle and drag the event to lengthen or shorten it.
To edit start times and duration using the SubSection Event Edit dialog box:
- Click the Name or the gray or colored area of the SubSection event within the
Notes display of the Graphic Editor window (don’t click on either of the Selector Triangles) to open the SubSection Event Edit dialog box.
- Enter the desired Bar/Beat/Clock start time in the Starting at Bar:Beat:Clock fields.
- Enter the desired duration in the For a duration of field; then click OK.
To edit start times and duration in the Event Editor window:
- Choose Event Editor from the Windows menu if that window is not already open.
- Click the Bar/Beat/Clock fields of the SubSection event and enter the desired start time.
- Click the Duration column and adjust the duration value.
