Moving lyrics You can move lyrics in the score individually or by line (verse). To move an entire line of lyrics: Click the Show/Hide Positions button. This displays the lyric position handles to the far left of the score. Drag any position indicator up or down to change the vertical position of the lyrics on that staff only. Option-drag the indicator to apply the vertical change to that verse on every remaining staff on the page. Command-drag to apply the vertical change to every remaining staff in the score. To move lyrics individually, click on individual words (or syllables) and drag them to new positions in the score. You can constrain the movements to the horizontal or vertical axis by holding down the shift key before dragging.
