Adding Additional Verses Popular music often contains multiple verses , with each verse’s text immediately below the previous verse. METRO supports up to eight verses per staff. To add an additional verse, click the Verse field of the lyric and enter a number of the verse. Make sure that you have entered the correct starting measure in the Measure field; otherwise your lyric verses will not line up properly. After you add the new lyric, click the Apply Changes button to add this verse to the score.
