Scaling Velocities of Selected Drum Strikes

You can scale the velocity of selected Drum Strikes by choosing the Velocity Tool (located at the top portion of the Graphic Editor). Make a selection within the Drum Grid display and choose the Velocity Tool; click and hold the mouse on any Drum Strike within the current selection and drag the mouse higher or lower to scale Note On velocities. Notice the Drum Strike icons change according to their new velocity settings; releasing the mouse scales velocity changes across all Drum Strikes within the selection. Since the Velocity Tool scales Note On velocities according to their original values, the relationship between individual note velocities within a selection will be preserved. The Velocity Tool can be thought of as a method to alter the overall dynamic of a particular selection.
