Slider Assign By default the Instruments sliders (faders) are assigned to control the instrument volume and pan. You can also customize the slider to send controller information or Sysex data. See Assigning SysEx to Instrument Faders . To send controller information or Sysex data using a slider: Click the Assign Volume Slider button in the Define Instruments dialog box. The Slider Assign dialog box appears. Click in the Assign Controller field to make it active. If you know the controller number you want, type it in. If you are not sure which number, then use the arrow keys at the bottom of the dialog. As you click up or down the corresponding controller type appears to the right of the Assign Controller field.
