Entering and Editing Tempo Events in the Section Event Editor Window To enter and edit tempo events in the Section Event Editor window: Do one of the following: To change initial tempo, make sure no time range is selected in the Graphic Editor or Tracks Overview windows. To enter a tempo change after the initial tempo, select the time where you want the new tempo to start by clicking in either the Graphic Editor or Tracks Overview windows. Open the Section Event Editor window by choosing Section Event Editor from the Windows menu. Click the Insert popup menu in the upper right corner of the Section Event Editor window and choose Tempo. Metro adds a tempo event to the Event list. In the Data Value column, click the tempo value and type the desired number. Press Enter.
