Paste And
Paste And repeatedly pastes multiple copies of selected MIDI or audio to the current
track. You can paste the selection a specific number of times for the length of
the selection or until the end of the Section.
To repeatedly paste copies:
- Select the clip you want to copy.
- Press Control-C to copy the clip.
- In either the Tracks or Graphic Editor windows, do one of the following:
- Select the spot where you want to paste the first copy.
- Select the length of area where you want all the copies to fit.
- From the Edit menu, choose Paste And.
The Paste and Paste Again dialog box appears
- Do one of the following:
- To paste N number of copies back-to back, click the 'N' Times field and fill in a number.
- To paste enough copies to fill the area that you selected, click For length of
selection.
- To paste enough copies to fill the rest of the track in this Section, click
Until end of section.
- To transpose each copy to a succesively higher or lower key:
(a) Click Transpose after each paste.
(b) Click Chromatically and then click the up or down arrow keys for each
half-step you want to transpose.
