Syncing to Tape (FSK to MIDI Clock) Syncing to tape is achieved with an FSK to MIDI Clock converter (such as the MIDI Transport by Passport). To sync Metro to FSK-generated MIDI Clock: Select Clock Sync from the Sync setting pop-up menu in Metro’s enlarged Transport window. Choose MIDI Setup from the Setup menu and select the Receive Sync button under the appropriate port. Click Record (or Play) in Metro’s Transport; Metro will remain in a pause mode until it receives MIDI Clock data from the master syncing device, at which time it will begin recording (or playing).
