Clock Sync
Syncing to MIDI Clock is common when dumping MIDI data from drum machines or
outboard sequencers into Metro.
To sync Metro to incoming MIDI clocks:
- Choose Clock Sync from the Sync setting pop-up menu in the Transport window.
- Choose MIDI Setup from the Setup menu and select the Receive Sync button for the port connected to the master timing device.
 Note:
OMS/MSS users should verify METRO’s Receive Sync From setting selected under MIDI Setup (Setup menu). “MIDI Clock capable MIDI devices” must be specified within the Current Studio Setup document.
- Click Record (or Play) in Metro’s Transport; Metro will remain in a pause mode until it receives MIDI Clock
data from the master syncing device, at which time it will begin recording (or
playing).
