Transcription Quantize amount
When METRO transcribes MIDI data into standard musical notation, it uses the
Transcription Quantize setting to select the smallest note value that you want
in the score. This allows the notation to compensate for sloppy playing.
METRO’s smallest transcription quantize amount is the triplet value of the selected
note value. For example, if you select a sixteenth note as the Transcription
Quantize value, the smallest note value that METRO recognizes and transcribes is
a sixteenth note triplet.
To set this value, choose a transcription quantize amount from the palette.
METRO automatically recalculates the score using the new value.
