Eraser tool This tool removes objects in the score, such as notes, expressions, dynamics or text. To delete a musical symbol, click on it with this tool. Erasing symbols Click the eraser button to select the eraser tool . The cursor becomes an eraser when you position it over objects that can be erased Click the symbol or object that you want to erase. METRO erases it. You can erase notes in the score by selecting them with the Selection tool and pressing the Backspace key or choosing Clear from the Edit menu.
