Selecting contiguous symbols To select contiguous symbols, click the first, then shift-click the space after the last. METRO selects all the symbols between the first selection and the point where you shift-click. You can combine shift-clicking and dragging rectangles to select contiguous symbols or groups of symbols. The selection includes any symbol that the rectangle touches or encloses.
