The Notation Window To open the Notation window, select it from the Windows menu or press shift-command-N. The Notation window has three main sections: The Toolbar holds the tools that you use to add, delete and manipulate elements in the score. The Score is the document containing the staves, with their notes and other notation symbols. The Page View controls determine how the page is displayed.
