When connected to DECK, Metro derives all of its timing information from DECK II. If you are working with NTSC video, the timecode is most likely 29.97 fps SMPTE. True 30 fps SMPTE is a seldom-used format which only has applications as a raw time stamp in multitrack audio or film-to-tape pulldown adjustments.
