OMS Setup
OMS manages your Mac’s serial ports when it’s installed and loaded at system startup. Choosing the OMS Setup submenu from the OMS option under the Setup menu opens the OMS MIDI Setup dialog box.
The information you enter in the OMS MIDI Setup dialog box informs OMS which Macintosh serial ports to use for MIDI, and how
OMS should behave in the presence of other Macintosh applications.
Choose the Run MIDI in Background button in order to run OMS MIDI applications in the background. Enabling
this setting is required when running Metro in tandem with DECK II. Both programs
continue to play in the background (without stopping) when this setting is
enabled.
Note:
See your OMS manual for details about the OMS MIDI Setup dialog box.
Choose the New Easy Setup to reconfigure your Current OMS Setup. Choose the Edit Custom Setup button to edit your Current OMS Setup.
Click the Error Log button to display any OMS errors encountered thus far in your Metro session.
