For Connecting to Deck II DECK II, Macromedia's digital audio workstation software, functions together with Metro, allowing you to record, edit, and play back in Metro and DECK II at the same time. Simply indicate in Metro that you want to Connect to DECK II (within the Digital Audio dialog); Metro will automatically sync to DECK II's timing engine. The start time is accurate to 1 SMPTE bit (an 80th of a frame); after the start time, accuracy is maintained with sample-accurate precision. Metro and DECK II offer similar graphic edit capabilities, providing you with a modular, yet unified and intuitive work environment.
