Scale Tempos To Preserve Time If you click the Scale Tempos to Preserve Time checkbox in the Scale Time dialog box (Options menu), time is compressed or expanded by altering tempo values. This allows you to compress or expand the MIDI note data in the selected range without changing its overall rhythm. Note: Scaling tempos can be as easy as clicking and dragging bar lines to move them to fit around notes. See Also: Scale Time
