Reverse
You can reverse the pitch of selected notes (sometimes called invert), the
time of selected notes (sometimes called retrograde), or reverse selected notes in
a scale around a note specified as the pivot point.
To reverse data:
- In the Graphic Editor or Tracks Overview, select the data you want to edit.
- From the Options menu, choose Reverse.
The Reverse dialog box appears.
- Choose the options you want (see options list below).
- Click OK.
Reverse editing options:
Reverse Pitch - if you want to reverse the pitch of all selected notes, click the Pitch of selected notes button.
Reverse Scale - if you want to reverse in a scale, click the In the scale of button and enter the desired key and scale.
Reverse Chromatically - you can reverse notes chromatically by clicking this button and entering
the note to be used as the pivot. Notes on either side of the pivot note will
reverse.
Reverse Time of Events - if you want to reverse the time of events within a selected area, click the Times of selected events button. The center (in time) of the selection will be the pivot point of the
reverse operation.
