Quantize
You can quantize notes either:on input or after they are recorded and selected. Quantization shifts individual notes within a selected region to the nearest
beat boundary (eighth notes, sixteenth notes, etc.) that you specify. You can
specify a quantize value that places notes exactly on the beat or, if you
prefer, closer to the beat by a specified percentage. Many people use quantization
to tighten up loose playing; after recording you can go back to a track and
specify where in relation to the beat boundaries you want your notes to fall.
Metro’s Groove Quantize feature allows for the quantization of a track to the timing
of a predetermined groove.

- In the Graphic Editor or Tracks Overview, select the data you want to quantize.
