QuickTime

Metro takes full advantage of many QuickTime features, including the ability to import and export files of different formats. Metro imports WAV files, Sound Designer II documents, AVI files and QuickTime movies. Metro exports Audio Tracks as Quicktime Movies, AIFF, System 7 sound, WAV and uLaw files.

To export Audio tracks using QuickTime:

  1. Choose File-Export Audio Tracks to File Dialog

  2. Select Quicktime Export

  3. Choose the file format from the format pop-up menu (below the filename field).

  4. Click Save.

Clicking the options button will allow you to set the compression algorithm bit depth, sample rate and whether the file is mono or stereo.
