The Bars Column Tracks initially open displaying one empty bar. Once you record any data on a track, the Bar column displays the number of bars the data encompasses and the number of bars comprising that track. Looping an entire track loops the number of bars displayed in this column. You can alter a track’s length by editing the value displayed in this field. Shortening track length causes playback to stop at the track end; however, any existing data beyond the track end remains but does not play back. See Also: The Sections Window
