To run Metro you will need your serial number and access to the internet (at least initially). It is illegal to use copyrighted software that has not been paid for. Therefore when starting Metro for the first time it is necessary to authorize your license.

Step 1:

Enter your name and email address. Enter the serial number that was provided when you purchased the product. If you do not enter a valid, in-service email address you will not be able to qualify your license so make sure it is correct before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2:

Click the Qualify button. This will launch your web browser and also send info to the email address specified in step 1. If the qualify button is unavailable it may be due to the serial number being pasted multiple times. If this happens use the backspace key in the serial number field until it will not back up any more and then re-enter the serial number.

Step 3:

Check your email and copy the info needed from the email and paste it into the bottom field of the qualifying dialog.

Once the name is entered in this dialog box it will not have to be re-entered unless you run the program from a different drive (or if your drive is removable).

If you currently do not have access to the internet or cannot wait for the email, you may enter the following phrase into the text box directly to the right of and below Step 3:

The phrase must be typed exactly as it appears above.

This will allow you to enter the program once but must be re-entered every time the application is restarted.

This qualifying process is necessary to stop the piracy of Metro. A tremendous amount of work went into the making of this product.
